- 1 cup Bhunna Channa (roasted gram, peeled)
- ½ cup Jaggery (grated)
- 2 tbsp Ghee (clarified butter)
- 2 tbsp Chopped Nuts (like almonds or cashews, optional)
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder (optional)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Bhunna Channa
Grind the roasted gram into a fine powder using a blender. Transfer it to a mixing bowl.
Step 2: Melt the Jaggery
In a pan, melt the jaggery on low heat with a tablespoon of water. Stir until it forms a smooth syrup.
Step 3: Mix It All Together
Add the jaggery syrup, ghee, cardamom powder, and chopped nuts (if using) to the powdered channa. Mix thoroughly until the mixture binds well.
Step 4: Shape the Laddus
Grease your palms with a little ghee, take small portions of the mixture, and roll them into round laddus.
Step 5: Cool and Store
Let the laddus cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
